Maylands Business Centre Extension – Official Opening Ceremony 2017

Friday 28th July 2017 marks the official opening of the state of the art business complex built and managed by Dacorum Borough Council. Five new business units were officially opened by the Mayor of Dacorum, Cllr David Collins (pictured).

There was a great turnout with business leaders from Hemel Hempstead Business Ambassadors, MP Mike Penning, Deputy Mayor, Cllr Rosie Sutton and Cllr Graham Sutton among the many guests who attended the opening.

Of the 5 new units, we have moved to one of the larger and more suitable facilities having outgrown our initial premises. The move will enable us to increase productivity and efficiency and also help us expand further by offering more services to our clients. The new extension has not only help support us it will help to support the growing need for business space in the area, providing an opportunity for some existing tenants to upgrade and others to come on board and flourish.

Maylands Business Centre, established in June 2011. Is a custom-built, dedicated business centre in the business district of Hemel Hempstead. The tenants at the centre have access to  various services and options ranging from business advice and training to personal support from Dacorum Borough Council. It’s facilities and location mean that it has become a community centre for all businesses in the Maylands business area – the perfect place for businesses to meet new oppertunity’s, train & make new contacts.

The centre itself serves to foster small businesses in their first commercial premises, providing support in vast areas and flexible premises options in which to develop and grow.
